The counter handles more than thirty currencies including sterling, euros, Swiss francs, Australian and Canadian dollars, yen, won, yuan, Singapore and Hong Kong dollars, rupees, dirhams and roubles, and holds stock in all of them, so notes can be sold back as well as bought.

Rates are quoted by denomination rather than as a single figure across the board: hundreds and fifties fetch a better price than fives and twenties, and single notes less again. The board is restated through the day.
